New Buildings

Building work began in January 2001 on the Junior site. Below are a selection of photographs tracing the development of the work..

The picture to the right shows work to the ceilings and walls being completed. The blue covering is a plastic film protecting the wall panels. The picture on the left shows the kitchen almost complete

The kitchen complete and the first customers were very happy with their new surroundings. A smooth transition on the first day. Well done to all staff concerned.

Staff and children enjoyed a special school dinner to mark the official opening of the new kitchen, performed by the school's Chair of Governors.

Trenches being dug along the front of the school which takes the new pipework and manholes for the sinks to be fitted in the junior classrooms
